I was thinking about it, "How could he be my friend? He was a cool guy. I was nobody. Nothing.." my inner babble went on. Suddenly, my inner babble was cut off. He stared at me with his amazing ocean blue eyes. "Woah." I mumbled. He chuckled a bit, but kept his eyes on me. "You're funny, I like that." "Really? Aw, thanks." My heart was doing a happy dance. "Yeah. You know, I wanted to do this for so long.." He leaned in and kissed me. I was in shock, completely caught off guard. But I realized I didn't care. I kissed him back for the hell of it; I'd had a crush on him since grade school and I wouldn't let this moment slip. I smiled, stepping back. He wouldn't look at me, and I could see his bright red cheeks. I saw his eyes staring at the ground. After a long silence, he finally said, "I love you, Grace." I couldn't think. My mind just blurted the one question that came to mind: "But, how can you love nothing?"
