I am the eldest of seven siblings. Billy and Barney came about way back in 1991 when the three youngest of my siblings being eight, seven and four were acting up, I dived behind a chair, took off my shoes and socks, placed the socks over my hands and stuck my hands over the chair. Of course I called these sock puppets Billy and Barney. I then told my sibling that if they were good that there would be a story time at bed time. Over time, eight Billy and Barney stories where created though when I got around to typing them up a number of years back I could only remember five of them, so they are coming up in here. Having become an uncle I thought it was time for a new generation of stories so in 2004 and 2005 THE LIGGLE TURKLE stories came along though I only got around to come up with three of these.
