Anxious overachiever, Sophia Calloway, has a plan; graduate top of her class, get into a top 3 law school, keep her head down and emotions quieter. So when the University of Michigan's ice hockey team targets her in a prank gone wrong? She's ready to call campus security, drop-kick the nearest jock and move on with her structured little life. Instead, she gets Holden Zhao. Captain of the hockey team- too charming for his own good, worryingly reckless and absolutely allergic to authority. And now- assigned to her beloved library shift as punishment. Holden has never met a girl who doesn't fall at his feet. Sophia has never met a boy who makes her want to scream... and maybe kiss, all in the same breath. He calls her uptight. She calls him a menace. But the longer they're stuck together, the harder it is to pretend it's just a punishment. The less it feels like one, too. ➳♡➳ "I'm not going to kiss you, Soph." She crosses her arms defensively. "And why the hell not?" "I'm not going to kiss you," My lips graze the shell of her ear. "Until you beg me to." ➳♡➳ Slow burn. Enemies to friends to lovers. Banter like a whiplash. One anxious overachiever. One chaotic hockey captain. This was never part of the plan.

Logan Romano didn't just enter the NHL. He tore through it. Dark. Brooding. Untouchable. With brutal talent and a reputation as cold as the New York winter, Logan dominates both the ice and every room he walks into. He doesn't lose. He doesn't bend. And he certainly doesn't fall in love. Not after the last time. Not until November Levine crashes into his life like a beam of sunlight he never asked for. She's warmth where he's storm clouds. She's soft where he's jagged edges. A walking contradiction to everything Logan swore he needed. When a deal forces the polar opposites under one roof, tensions ignite fast. Teasing turns to feuds. Feuds turn into something dangerously close to desire. And Logan is forced to confront the one promise he's never broken. Because once you step into the light- it's impossible to return. ✩ Grumpy x sunshine • forced proximity • slow burn Will the hockey captain cross that line? ✩ "Nova." I whisper, my voice low and hoarse against her neck. "Stop it." "Stop what." She whimpers back innocently as her thighs tighten around my hips. My teeth nip at the skin on her jaw in warning. "Either stop teasing, or put me out of my fucking misery." November pulls her head back from mine, resting it against the wall, and bats her lashes up at me. "Say please."

We're not in love. Our past is a dumpster fire. The best we are is friends with benefits... without the friends' part. Jake Harrison, USC's star quarterback, goes through girls faster than jock straps. If that's not disgusting enough, he's my best friend's brother and my prime motivation for celibacy. Transferring to UCLA means finally getting out of my dad's house. All I want is to stay under the social radar, make Dad proud by earning my paralegal certification, and get out of Los Angeles. When Jake learns I'm nearby, the cocky jerk will stop at nothing to rekindle what didn't work before. He thinks he's grown and matured past the boy who crushed my teenage heart. I think he's taken too many tackles into the turf, but when he proposes a stress management agreement during his season... I can't help but see his point. His seven-and-a-half-inch point. The last time we indulged, we got sloppy. Not the good kind-soul-crushing feelings-sloppy. My brain knows cutting ties was for the best, but the rest of my body still hates me. But I won't be made a fool again. This time, I have rules: No attachment. No cuddles. And no falling in love. Yet, when treacherous feelings resurface, I do the worst thing possible-Break my own rules. This time, whoever falls first isn't getting back up. Story is complete. Finding relationships is easy... Keeping them is the real game. That's what I'm learning in my first one. It's not easy. Our rival schools are an hour apart, my best friend's turning secretive, my parents are controlling, and my brother's still an ass, gearing toward winning the state championship, and still doesn't like my boyfriend, Logan. I get it, they're rivals, and I kinda feel like Logan's team might be better but this season will decide. Being the star rival quarterback's girlfriend brings big rumors and big drama, especially when elements of our pasts resurface - his jaded ex whatevers, and the secrets I thought I'd buried and moved beyond. All of this while I just want to figure out where to go for college and what for. Some relationships will always stand the test of time and distance, while others crumble by the time the high school dust settles. I hope Logan and I are in the former because I'm falling hard for him. Really hard. Forever love hard. Story is ongoing with frequent updates. Please add it to your reading list! Football players are assholes. I know - my brother is their king. Older and annoyingly overprotective, he's the star quarterback at Santa Cruz High School. I love him, but everyone worships the air he breathes and it's suffocating. After a traumatic experience with a quarterback three years ago, I want nothing to do with boys and dating. All that matters is getting into college, so I ace my classes and sign up for my school's student ambassador program to boost my applications. Thankfully, I have my best friend, Harper, to get me through high school being overshadowed by my brother. My plans for a quiet, low-key senior year are destroyed when my brother's cocky, arrogant rival keeps butting into my life. Logan Hightower is a total player who expects me to drool at his feet while he uses me to burn my brother's game. If he thinks I'll fall for his gorgeous looks and shallow charms, he's totally mistaken. He'll never succeed because I hate football players.
