Selene is fifteen years old, and she is already exhausted. She lives with an abusive mother and stepfather, where violence is routine and silence is survival. The beatings are frequent, expected.
She has a two-month-old son-the only thing anchoring her to the world. He is her reason for enduring. Her reason for breathing. Without him, there would be nothing left.
Selene is completely alone. Or at least, she believes she is.
Everything changes when a tragic accident leaves her parents dead. In the aftermath, she learns the truth: she was kidnapped as a baby, taken from a family that never stopped searching. Five older brothers. Strangers by blood, not by loss.
They want to protect her. To bring her home.
But Selene doesn't know how to trust anyone. She doesn't know how to explain the scars she hides, the life she's lived, or the child she never planned to have. And some truths feel too dangerous to speak aloud.
The question isn't whether her brothers will find her.
It's whether Selene will ever believe she deserves to be found.
