Izuku lived a normal happy life and had lots of friends until he turned 4 years old when his quirk activated. It was a very powerful fire quirk, but giving its darker qualities and how dangerous it is, people stayed away from him and labeled him a villain, while treating him as a outcast. His friendship with Katsuki completely fell apart afterwards as well, with him bullying him for his quirk and wanting to be a hero. But then one day everything changed for him, when Katsuki came to his house since he was forced to bring Izuku's homework and when he showed up, they got into a argument. As they argued, Kastukis anger and inferiority along with superiority complex got the better of him and he ended up releasing a massive explosion inside Izuku's apartment. Seeing his mom get hit by it, he ran to her screaming for her but didn't get a response. Katsuki stood frozen from seeing this but after a few seconds he turned and ran away from the scene, leaving Izuku screaming for his mother. After that, Inko was rushed to the hospital and was in a coma and the doctors told Izuku they weren't sure when she'd wake up or if she ever will. As he sat in the room with his mom, the door opened and the family friend Nemuri Kayama ran into the room and pulled Izuku into a tight hug while apologizing to him and telling him everything will be ok. But for Izuku, a part of him broke and he realized that if he didn't have this quirk... his mom wouldn't be here and she'd still be awake. Nemuri took Izuku in giving Inko wrote that either her or Mitsuki would take care of Izuku if anything ever happened to her. She helped raise Izuku and tried her best to be a mother figure for him, but he was simply broken, he didn't smile anymore and kept to himself. It broke her heart to see it, but all she could do was be here for him and try her best to make him happy and tried her best to encourage him to achieve his old dream of being a hero

The day Izuku received a strange miniature statue from his father was the day his destiny had shifted. After committing suicide at a young age, he is revived by the God Khonshu to become his next champion.
