Ezra Bridger had been on his own since he was seven, now he's thirteen. It had been six long years since he'd had anyone to call family, or even just a friend. He thought he would always be alone, that he would never have anyone to talk to when he needed it, or to hug when he was sad. But maybe, just maybe, he was wrong.

What would happen if Kanan found a five year old Ezra right after his parents were taken away? In this story, Kanan takes the child in and accidentally raises him like a son. What if Ezra begins to see Kanan as a father instead of care giver? How will Kanan react? And what if all of this happens before. Hera asks Kanan to rebel against the Empire with her. After the Ghost crew got captured on a mission, the Empire won't put up with them anymore, so they are frozen in carbonite. Four years pass of being frozen in carbonite, the Ghost crew are finally rescued by the rebel fleet. But find out that Ezra was not frozen in carbonite, rather forced to join the Empire. After a month has passed of being unfrozen, the Ghost crew go on a mission soon to discover someone who knows and are close to Ezra... and that someone is Ezras padawan? ~ I just want to say this is my first story of Star Wars Rebels. So, if you have any tips on writing PLEASE tell me. I do add a few characters of my own and Ahsoka is alive in this one along with Kanan being able to see if you don't mind. Kanan in this story meets Ezra in an unexpected turn of events and not with the others. When the empire shoots down the ghost, Kanan falls off and the others are taken to a prison facility on the other side of lothal. Never having been on lothal before or on the streets with no supplies he meets Ezra, a street smart kid who knows lothal better than anyone. With Ezra's help Kanan makes his way to the other side of lothal and makes a surprising relationship.
