A Falsettos one-shot book, because there isn't enough Falsettos content here on Wattpad. The majority will be Marvin x Whizzer, but I will also write Charlotte x Cordelia and Trina x Mendel (depending on whether people actually want that ship). I don't usually write fanfiction, but I love this musical, and it's really fun to write. Disclaimer: I do not own these characters, they are created and owned by William Finn. Only the plots and situations they find themselves in, and the occasional OC, are owned by me. After Marvin kicked the young Whizzer Brown out of his house, he only knew one thing for certain: He was back to square one. He didnt have a stable home anymore, that was Marvin's. He wasnt in a relationship anymore. He didnt have money. Then again, why did Whizzer feel like he was unstoppable?

Modern Falsettos AU. ~ Whizzer moves out of New York after highschool, and came back years later. In highschool, he had a few friends: Marvin, Mendel, Trina, Cordelia and Charlotte. They all graduated a year before him. Whizzer didn't have a lot of inspiration his last year. Before, Trina and Marvin were highschool sweethearts. Trina got pregnant their senior year, and Marvin and Trina vowed to stay together.. which broke Whizzers heart. He hooked up with Marvin a few times, and nobody but them knew. Cordelia and Charlotte also dated starting sophomore year. Mendel.. he never really talked to.. but they had alot in common. Once his friends graduated, Whizzer only talked to them for a few more months before they drifted away.. until Whizzer moved back to New York.

Marvin is struggling to be happy in his marriage to his wife, Trina, who he married because he had to. His son, Jason, is 9 years old and barely talks to anyone who isn't his parents. Marvin has a bank job which pays the bills well, but he gets bored very easily. He just wants something in his life that will make him happy. Whizzer just graduated college and hopes to become a fashion designer. He has many ideas, but is struggling on the inside. He is quite distant from his mother and father and he hooks up with 5 different men every week but never actually starts a relationship with any of them. All he wants is some stability in his life, whether that be a job as a designer or a person to share his life with. Pretty soon these two men will run into each other, and an incident involving a blue blazer and coffee will set off a chain of events that will end with Whizzer and Marvin both getting what they truly want. What will make them happy. Will they find their happy endings in each other? *No one dies in this story. I do not own these characters in any way. All the credit goes to the fantastic William Finn and James Lapine. I am simply a huge fan of Falsettos and of Marvin and Whizzer's relationship. There will be some language and a $3X scene or two, so if you aren't comfortable with either of those, feel free to skip my story. But if that's okay, then I hope you enjoy it!
