She was supposed to fall in love with the groom. Instead... She accidentally handed the salted coffee to the wrong brother. --- Sanem Aydın never believed in arranged marriages. She believed in stories, freedom, and choosing her own ending. But one nervous mistake during a traditional Turkish marriage proposal changes everything. The man who silently drinks her impossibly salty coffee without a single complaint isn't her fiancé. He's Can Divit-a world-famous wildlife photographer with untamed eyes, a wandering soul, and absolutely no intention of falling in love. The problem? The man waiting to marry her is Can's younger brother. What begins as an innocent misunderstanding soon becomes stolen glances across crowded rooms, lingering touches that mean too much, impossible choices, and a love neither of them is allowed to claim. Because sometimes the heart doesn't make mistakes... It simply falls for the wrong person. __ A slow-burn, aching romance filled with aching tension, family expectations, witty banter, and a love that will make you believe one cup of coffee can change an entire lifetime.

Rival Mahalle Shops (Neighborhood Nemeses) The Setup: Sanem runs her father's traditional grocery/bookshop, and Can-returning from years abroad-opens an ultra-modern, high-end organic coffee & photography loft right directly across the narrow cobblestone street. The Enemy Spark: Can's trendy customers are blocking her shop entrance, and Sanem accidentally drenches him with a hose while watering her porch plants. The Drama: Petty neighborhood warfare, Mevkibe fueling the feud, Can secretly finding her hilarious, and Sanem trying to act like his broad shoulders and smoldering eyes don't make her heart hammer.

Twisted Vows - A Love That Should Never Have Been, A Betrayal That Can't Be Forgotten. Leah Lockhart thought she had left her past behind. After six years of being the unwanted wife of Jacob Fairfax-the man who never loved her, the man who always belonged to someone else-she finally walked away. Divorced, determined, and ready to reclaim her life, she's done playing the role of the devoted fool. But just as she starts to piece her life back together, a bullet shatters the fragile walls she's built, pulling her back into a world of secrets, danger, and a family that never truly wanted her. Jacob always knew his heart belonged to Lizzie, Leah's perfect sister. But fate had other plans, forcing him into a marriage he never wanted. Now, with Lizzie back in his arms, he should finally feel whole. Instead, he's consumed by the one woman he was so sure he could forget. Leah was supposed to be nothing more than a mistake, a regret he'd long since buried. But when he sees her moving on, sees another man touching what was once his, something dark and possessive ignites within him. As old wounds reopen and long-buried emotions rise to the surface, Leah and Jacob are forced to confront the twisted vows that still bind them. But when danger comes knocking and the sins of the past refuse to stay buried, will they finally break free... or will they be dragged under by a love that was never meant to survive? 🔥 Betrayal. Obsession. Revenge. Some vows are meant to be broken. But some... are impossible to escape.

She loved him loudly. He loved her quietly-only when it was convenient. Leah believed two years of love meant security, a future, a place she could finally call hers. Yet, every time it mattered, he chose someone else. A best friend. A familiar comfort. A silence that hurts more than betrayal. This is a story about emotional neglect, unspoken loyalties, and the slow realization that love without priority is a form of loss. It asks a difficult question: How long can you stay where you are never fully chosen?

I stayed when I shouldn't have. I stayed through half-listened conversations and promises that disappeared the moment someone else needed him more. I told myself I was overthinking. That things would change eventually. So I learned how to swallow my discomfort. My loneliness. My doubts. Until everything fell apart. Now I can't stop wondering why it took almost losing my life to finally understand what I already knew all along: I should've left him long ago. ............. This story is inspired by the Turkish series Erkenci Kuş and its protagonists; I have taken some of the characters and their roles in the novel to create it, so it may bear some similarity to the plot we saw on screen. ______ Can and Sanem are two free souls whose paths cross by chance one random night, where, unsuspectingly, they will mark the beginning of a story they were not prepared for.
