The sweet and humble life of Rose.

Sadness is reality of every day. I was asked what inspired me to write this- My answer is some bad days and empathy, for I know I am not alone in this, and neither are you.

Survival. Betrayal. Elation. Survival; Thats all she has done her whole life, surviving her way through the endless journey. Trying to earn money, stay a well-balanced life, taking care of a brother, maintaining money, maintaining a job. Betrayal; Felt every piece of this emotion, ranging from frustration, anger to helplessness, and pessimistic feelings. Friends? She thought she could depend on them with her life, but were they really true friends? Elation; Still having a brother, still having a job, still having a roof to be underneath. Not much elation for her, but at least she still has a life to explore, right? ~ I slowly walked towards the door frame, trying not to make a sound. I took a deep breath, and stepped outside, not looking back, afraid the tears and horrible memories would come back again, haunting me for eternity. Quinn scribbles tainted emotions across thin layers of white paper. But to who? To someone who blinks once, sees her, and blinks again-just to make her disappear. To someone who sees her as a symbol of the ocean. To someone who thinks the ocean is disgusting and hideous, filled with trash and pathetic wandering fishes. To someone who believes that Quinn needs to be a size zero to be labeled as 'beautiful.' If she isn't, why in the world will anyone care to love her? She's disgusting. Worthless. An enormous sailboat that makes the world sink. But how long will it take until she sinks herself?
