There are lots of things that come out in the dark, and perhaps one of the newest and most dangerous is Troye Mellet, recently turned werewolf. As he struggles to fight the strange, overwhelming urges that his heightened senses gift him, trying to isolate himself so no one can figure out he's turned into a monster, he finds himself magnetically drawn to Tyler Oakley, his new neighbor. What is it about Tyler that causes the beast in Troye to want to simultaneously rage and run away? What is it about Tyler that causes Troye's palms to sweat and his pulse to speed? As much as Troye may want to, he can't seem to stay away from Tyler, and as their friendship steadily burns into something more, something dangerously intoxicating, Troye can't help but begin to suspect that there is more to Tyler than what meets the eye...

Tyler Oakley and Troye Sivan have been best friends ever since second grade, when Tyler asked Troye to be his valentine. Every following year they'd ended up as each others valentines, in some way or another. But both of these boys had real, unearthed feeling for each other, and being each other's valentine as a "friend" was not helping. With mutual hidden (and denied) crushes, will either of them ever pluck up the courage to ask the other out? (You know, not on valentines day?)

Dan is different. He's learned to accept that. Well, as best he can anyway, considering he's never really had much of a choice. It's been this way for as long as he can remember, the constant runaround process of trying to feel normal. His life is built around it, trying to trick both himself and everyone he interacts with into seeing him as your average person. The isolation as he desperately tries to keep others from finding out, the bitterness that wells up inside of him each and every time he's reminded that he'll never be like everyone else, the fear that nothing will ever change. He's fated to be this way forever; a misfit from society. Isolation can only go so far though, so when he's struggling to make ends meet and he's faced with the option of looking into a serious job or taking on a roommate, he opts for what seems like the easier option at the time. It doesn't seem so easy ten failed roommates into the process, or when he sits down at a table to meet with prospect number eleven and ends up with a coffee spilled all over his lap. Potential roommate number eleven, Phil, turns out to be an insufferable optimistic ball of sunshine that Dan wants nothing to do with. His options are running out though, as are the savings he's been using to pay his rent, so he finds himself begrudgingly agreeing to let the other man move in. Neither of them have any way of knowing just what they've gotten themselves into as they shake on the matter, but time will tell.

That teacher that everyone thinks is a little weird but who teaches really well: he could be one of them. The nice lady at check-out in the supermarket who's line moves faster than all the others: she could be one of them. That doctor that somehow manages to save even the most hopeless patients: he's probably one of them. It's a world where some people are a bit different than most others. Or completely different in fact, the main difference being that those people... aren't people. They are dragons. Shape-shifters, to be exact: humans with the ability to turn into dragons, adopting their form and nature for as long as they please. It's a fact unknown to most, even though there are quite a lot of them living among those so-called normal humans. Fearing being discovered, locked up in labs for studies or being used for petty war projects, the dragons hide their existance and those among them who aren't able to hide yet: namely, their young. Troye Sivan Mellet is one of those young dragons. Born the son of a dragon mother and human father, he grew up knowing everything about the existence and nature of dragons. Eventually, shortly after his 20th birthday, he'd "hatched" into a dragon himself for the first time and was sent to one of the (among dragons) most famous schools: The Nest of Seoay, in the wild sea somewhere north of Scotland. Among many others, he meets Tyler Oakley there; a grumpy, bad tempered fellow student who should have been out of there over a year ago, but apparently isn't allowed to leave. A twist of fate (or the twisted sense of humour of their principal) forces them to work closer together than either of them appreciates... At least until they discover the benefits of that forced relationship, that ends up being put to an ultimate test in which not only their own lives depend on it, but possibly the fate of the entire world...

Troye Sivan is a world famous singer with thousands of adoring fans. But despite his fame and wealth, he's not happy at all and very lonely. He has fallen into a life consumed by sex, alcohol and drugs, is estranged from his family and surrounded by sycophants. Tyler Oakley is an up and coming reporter for the LA Times, looking to win favor with his boss. He already has an preconceived idea of who Troye Sivan is but when he finds himself talking the star down from a ledge, he finds there is a lot more to the singer than he previously thought. Inspired by the film - Beyond the lights.

It's just too easy to expect that self-proclaimed homophobes (like Troye Sivan) and a homosexuals themselves (like Tyler Oakley) could never get along. Not even mindless vengeful plans or diabolic fake babies or constant mockery or accidental not-dates or attempts to make each other's lives a living hell could force a decent acquaintanceship upon them, much less was there a chance that they'd develop weird yet genuine relationships and feelings that definitely crosses the border of friendship. It would definitely take a million wishes and miracles just for them to like each other. ..right? Entirety of story is fictional; characters are real life people. There will be unacceptable name callings, swearing, labelling, homophobia, sexuality issues, possible smut. If you are triggered by this, please exit for your own good. This is my first attempt at a Troyler fan fic. It is purposely vague. If you are a shipper and obsessed with YouTube you will know exactly what is going on. This story is completely fictional, just a fantasy thought up in the mind of a hopless Troyler shipper. I hope you enjoy it.
