"Goddess," he begged. "Please help me protect my people." "God," Another one prayed in the front seat of his truck. "Please help me keep my kids safe." "They're all I have left." They both spoke in unison, reaching the ears of their respective deities. They were both some of the strongest men of faith, going through so much hardship. While one tries to protect their home, another seeks to find a safe one for his family. "I believe it's time," She spoke to the woman next to her. High in the sky they floated, their dresses dancing in the moonlight. While her dress was one with the beams of soft white light, the other woman had a dress of gold, showing the sunlight that she mainly stayed in. Her wings were pure white, her hair a vibrant red. She had much color, while she kept with the soft colors of the moon, her own hair white and long, soft as silk. "I can't promise that it will be perfect in the beginning," the angel spoke, looking down at the man in the truck. "But he is of a kind heart, even if it is untrusting at first." "I'm sure Declan can handle that," the Goddess of the Moon smiled at her. "Out of all the challenges he has faced, I'm positive that this won't be difficult for him to achieve." "Out of all the challenges that my soldier has faced," the angel grew a worried look. "I'm worried that this might be the most difficult." *** Wolf Peak has many tales of good and bad, but never has it struggled as much as it was right then. At this point, they're willing to take any chances they can to save their residents from evil in the forests. Even if that means trusting a new family coming into town. With clashing religions and trigger fingers, both men are in for a bumpy ride.

In a world where humans coexist with other races, known yet unknown to them, the throes of fate force a young human woman to leave the familiarity of her world and thrust her right into the arms of a scarred alpha. Lillian, a single mother of five-year-old twin boys, was welcomed home one night by the horrors of death and blood. Forced to flee with her children, she ends up on pack land. Her new life in the pack will unravel secrets that will lead her to question everything she knows about herself. Noah is the alpha of his pack. A series of kidnapping disturb the peace of the neighboring territories. In the middle of attempting to solve the issue, a human female drops into his land. Everything about Lillian is a paradox, and Noah doesn't know how to deal with a human who doesn't accept his authority, and who gives life to conflicting emotions in his scarred heart. excerpt: ''He should kill her. It was only one life, a reasonable price to pay in order to protect their secrets. "You'll die," he repeated, looking down at the fire in her eyes. She took a deep breath, the smell of fear disappearing again. "Take care of my boys." she smiled at him and closed her eyes. Noah's hands lifted. One move. Quick and painless. Simple. Humans were so easy to kill. Her slender neck would break without a real effort on his part. The wolf raged again, Noah's muscles turned rigid, fighting the beast for control. It had never happened before. Noah's hand touched her neck. Her skin was freezing. A lone tear slid out of Lillian's eye. She bit her trembling lip and Noah followed the action. Her body was trembling, from cold or fear, he didn't know.'' *This book is part of the Blue Flames world. However, it can be read as a standalone.

"You're bruised," the boy came up to him slowly. His calculated demeanor melted as he walked and for once, Jett saw the eighteen-year-old behind the princely mask he always hid behind. He..." he trailed off. The brown eyes that Jett had quickly fallen for wandered off into the distance. Jett wished he could read them better. "What's the matter with your father?" He finally found the one. The one that he had given up on finding at such an early age, he finally found the person who could complete him. Now he just had to make sure he could keep her safe. He had found her in the worst possible place: right in the middle of a case. "By the way," his partner pulled him out of his thoughts. He surprised him by giving him a mischievous smirk. "That growl? 10/10 in my book. Very spooky. 9/10 on Rotten Tomatoes for Plot and Suspense. Of course, one point was taken away for doing it near humans, a woman, nonetheless. But, other than that, loved it." He had to take a deep breath for that. He stopped walking and glared at the man. "You know," he started. "One of these days you're going to wind up dead because of that mouth." "From you?" "Possibly." "Good," that smirk never left his face. "You have no idea how annoying it is being immortal." "Can't be worse than being friends with one," he rolled his eyes and continued his walk. As much as he was excited to find his love, he couldn't help but be concerned for the woman. She was a gypsy without a past or a family. And it seemed like there was more than just him looking for her. But who was it? And why? Why was she trapped in that glass? Book #2 in The Bonds of Fate series "I-I'm s-s-sorry." She wept bitterly, the tears flowing down her cheeks in an uncontrollable stream. "I c-can never g-give you what you want." Vincent wanted nothing more than to hold her in his arms, comfort her, tell her that everything would be okay but in her current state it probably wouldn't be best. In fact, he wasn't even sure that she would even let him touch her. "Please little one," Vincent pleaded, taking a cautious step closer. "It's okay." "No! It's not!" She continued to weep, her knees weakening. If she wasn't so hysterical she may have been fearful that she would've collapsed. Her sobs softened, until all she could do was repeat her broken plea in a haunting whisper: "I can't give you what you want." "Baby, please, I don't understand." Vincent kept his voice calm, though it was really tearing him up to have to see his woman in such a way. It broke his heart to see her, curled up, bawling like a wounded child. He had to fight for control. Another small step closer. He had to comfort her, to protect her- it was a burning need within him worse than anything he had ever felt before. However, there was nothing that could prepare him for the words that would come next. "I'm barren." *** For Spiraea Johnson, all she's known is the life of a slave. Constantly faced with the pain and suffering dealt by fate. Alpha Vincent Russo wasn't prepared to find his mate, and he certainly wasn't prepared for her to be a impossible fragile thing that seemed damaged beyond repair. Encouraging her to open up, and earning her trust are ridiculously difficult especially when there seems to be danger lurking nearby. Perhaps Vincent is exactly what the little one needs to finally feel worthy of love, or perhaps she might just crumble under the weight of change...
