Pain... I'm pretty sure no one likes to talk about that. Compared to those who have been abused or those who are facing racism, sexism or such, my pain is absolutely nothing. But it does hurt. Poetry is an outlet for my feelings. Paper does have more patience than people. And letting all the feelings out gives glimpses of the light I hope to once find. When I talk about the light, I don't mean god, or something holy. I mean that moment in your life when you are smiling after everything you have gone through. Nightmares, death, hidden tears, losing hope, finding hope, trying to love again, nostalgia, past or overthinking, it's all there. So please be careful if it triggers a past experience you want to forget.
