Dominic Lycan is a friendly and young police detective who moved to the town of Carsden about 5 years ago. He doesn't get much work considering his young age so he usually has a lot of free time which he will spend in the library or walking around town. However when he does get some work, he will bury himself in it. Though he sometimes feels lonely, he has never had or given much thought about having a romantic relationship with anyone. Why? Maybe it was because he's asexual and feels very uncomfortable when engaging in physical contact with anyone. All he can hope for was a case to solve, to distract him, even if was just to assist. ~~~~~ Part of @CommunityInteractive's October Event : Mother's House Of Horror. Follow Dominic's point of view as yet another dissappearance occurs in Carsden just before the Harvest Festival. Something big coming, something that will surely make this one unforgettable.

I know you hate me But read it anyway - Bonnie Carsden. The rushing clear waters, peaceful windy hills and the kind trusting locals faces. This was vision of my hometown that gave me hope after a 'bad' breakup. But that isn't what I returned to, instead I got- Dead people, bloody waters, and not to mention freaking monsters! I guess I'll fit in quite nicely after all. Monsters are nothing compared to my demon.

Judith Goodhope has never set in foot in Carsden before, but her long search for her missing daughter, a search she's undertaken for ten years, has led her here. Alone in the world, out of options, out of money, her job teaching English to high schoolers a distant memory, her broken marriage an already dull ache, Judith holds tight to only two things in this world: her undeniable feeling that her daughter is still out there, and her recently acquired but obsessively studied deck of tarot cards. They've steered her this far. She has no choice but to trust them. She's taken a room in a boarding house in town (she'll worry about the bill later). Apparently there's some festival bringing other tourists in. There's definitely something about this town... She'll see what's in the cards.
