This is my first Fanfic, and it is Saimatsu from Danganronpa V3. Without spoiling much, this AU consists of all the deceased participants of the killing game surviving, but there's a catch..

Kaede Akamatsu joins Hopes Peak Academy only to find a boy who becomes her best friend, Shuichi Saihara. With friends, enemies, and a hidden past, how will Kaede and Shuichi find out what their relationship holds?

MAJOR SPOILERS FOR DANGANRONPA V3 KILLING HARMONY! This is a Saimatsu fic (Danganronpa's Shuichi Saihara x Kaede Akamatsu) where Kaede is not found as the blackened in the first class trial. The two have to survive the killing game together while keeping as many people alive as possible. There will be other ships in this story, but the prime one will be Saimatsu (my OTP). The story will loosely follow the DRV3 story with a few differences here and there including (but not limited to) blackened, victims, rooms in the Ultimate Acadamy, and executions. In this story, Kaede never dies. Nobody dies and they are just stuck in the killing game. This is a romance between Kaede and Shuichi. Read and watch it blossom into something beautiful as they learn from each other, have fun times with each other and the rest of the 16, and grow with each other. (Art not mine ;-;) If there is something I draw, I will say. But other than that, all art in this story is not mine, so whoever made it, you are a talented artist! And of course, the characters and setting is not mine.

DRV3 Spoilers "Kaede... you're alive?" Shuichi, Maki, and Himiko survived the 53rd Danganronpa game. But what if someone saved some of the others? What if, magically, they survived? Their deaths were mere fakes? There will also be other danganronpa characters present here, but DRV3 is the main. OC's too. ALSO THIS IS CENTERED AROUND SAIMATSU SO BEWARE Probably Kaimaki and Tenmiko/Oumeno too.

This fanfic begins in the early days of being trapped in the killing game, it's an unlikely place but romance can somehow manage to form anywhere no matter how complex it is. Kaede and Shuichi are able to figure out their emotions and deal with events in the process. Note: Only the storyline belongs to me, the cover and overall characters/game belong to separate creators <3
