Nadia has come from a broken home. Her father a drunkard, and would constantly bring debt upon the household. A mother, who first thought about aborting the child, but had cold feet, had to take beatings daily. After awhile, the mother could no longer take it anymore. She left in the middle of the night. No telling her only child goodbye. Several years have passed. The father was still gambling everything away, racking up more and more debt to the point it was impossible to pay off. The lenders one day came to take the man away to sell him off to slavers in the black market. Showing his complete cowardice, begged them to take his daughter away and to spare his life instead, which they happily obliged because she was years younger, and much more useful for years to come. Strangely enough, the girl did not make any fuss, nor struggled when taken away, almost like she was in complete acceptance.
