Lapis was affected a lot in the past, and she just wanna stay safe in her shell made out of tear. But there was a short blonde girl called Peridot, walked in her dorm room and change her life.

Lapis was upset about past traumas, until Peridot comes to console her. It works during her conscious hours, but once she falls asleep, the pain returns to her in the form of a nightmare. She awakens getting comforted by Peridot, but something seems off for the small, perky gem. Could she be hiding something about herself? This is a fanfic about Lapis and Peridot from Steven Universe. None of the characters are mine, and all credits for Steven Universe go to Rebecca Sugar.

( Finished editing! ) As a last resort resulting from the Crystal Gem incident, every era 2 gem was implemented with a type of disease, need they ever be destroyed. This disease slowly killed the gem off if they were to ever fall in love, since love was deemed as a distraction. Unless it was mutual, they would certainly shatter over time. As time went on, Peridot fell in love with Lapis. Lapis is back on Earth and decides to stay with Peridot in hopes of healing the scars between the two of them. Little does she know that her and Peridot are bound to become more than friends.

Peridot, the unpopular highschool nerd just wants to get through her last year of school quietly. But apparently that's impossible because of a rebellious blue haired actress and her tendency to pull peridot out of her comfort zone. It's bad enough getting bullied by an old friend, why couldn't she just leave her alone?
