Darrel Curtis was a strong man. He had to be, with everything that happened...But he had a certain spark of light in his eyes, and those close to him noticed it. That spark seemed to brighten every time he was around Dallas Winston.

In this AU, Johnny and Dally are alive and Johnny moves in with the Curtis's. All seems normal. But what if Johnny had a secret that could change everything. Its too scary for him to even think about. Ponyboys got a secret too. And its killing him to keep it a secret. But secrets have a way of coming out. The school dance is coming up, and the boys want nothing more than to be there with one person. However fear and jealously gets in the way. Will all hell unfold? (the description sounds cliche and I'll try and fix it later, but the story will be better, i promise)
