Layla Warren first introduced us to Trip Wilmington in REMEMBER WHEN... Now read his side of the story! Trip Wiley wasn't always a Hollywood movie star. In fact, he wasn't always Trip Wiley. Back in 1990, he was better known as Trip Wilmington, the new kid in town. New place, new school... same old story. No big deal. It's not like this is the first time he's been forced to start over. But seventeen years of city living hasn't prepared him for life in the suburbs... or for Layla Warren. Layla is smart, funny, beautiful... the kind of girl every guy dreams about. Trip should know. He's been falling for her since the first minute he saw her. And his life hasn't been the same since. ~ Prepare to travel back to your teen years... That time in your life before the real world kicked in, that limbo between adolescence and adulthood, that trial of hanging onto the past while figuring out where the future will lie. With heart-shredding romance, steamy love scenes, and hilarious 80s references, readers of all ages will find themselves falling in love with TRIP all over again. ***Author's note: This is no copy/paste job. This is a brand new story that fills in the blanks during Trip and Layla's separation while still bringing all the magic moments of the two of them together. It's the first book in an ongoing series, but most people believe it can be read as a standalone. It is highly recommended--but not required--that you read Remember When prior to reading TRIP. A school shooting in 2016 leaves Daniel Girch in a coma. As he's hovering between life and death, he inexplicably wakes up in his own bedroom...but instead of an iPhone plugged in next to his bed, there's a radio. On the dresser is a stack of cassette tapes. On the wall is a poster of a young Christie Brinkley. And in the closet are parachute pants and polo shirts. Downstairs, Daniel's dead grandmother is making pancakes, and his mom is suddenly an annoying eleven-year-old who plays with Barbies. It's 1986. With the help of his new best friend, Daniel assimilates to life as a teenager in the 1980s. He learns how to dress the part, to like the music, and to live without the conveniences of the modern world...and he also falls in love with a girl more interesting than any he's ever known. As Daniel fights for his life in 2016, he's awake in 1986 and struggling to save his uncle from the untimely death that changed the course of his whole family's lives. What will happen after he wakes up? And how will the things Daniel does in the past affect the future?

Every bridal party has that one girl who manages to turn the joy of a dream wedding into an absolute nightmare. Shana Benedict doesn't see the problem with that. Here's a riddle: What two words are the most fun to say, but are the most horrifying to hear? Give up? The answer is: "I'm engaged." And just so you know, this story isn't about me getting to say them. It's not that I'm jealous or anything. Well, okay, yes. I'm a little jealous that my best friend is getting married. But it's not like I'm going out of my way to sabotage her wedding or anything because of it. I just don't spend every waking moment focused on the thing. If my best friend in the entire world can't understand that, it's not my problem. I have a life of my own, you know. I mean, I'm getting married, too! Someday. And trust me, when I do, my wedding is going to be awesome. I've already got the groom picked out and everything. (He just doesn't know it yet.) Livia thinks I'm being ridiculous. I think she's being selfish. I mean, who says this entire year has to be about her? Like I'm just supposed to drop everything and be a slave for the next twelve months? Yeah right. If that makes me The Girl You Love to Hate, so be it. I don't care what anyone thinks. I know I'm better than that. AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is not a sweet, romantic love story. It's a cringing, screaming, throw-the-book-across-the-room story. It's also a standalone, but reading "Down the Shore" first is highly suggested. READ WHEN YOU'RE IN THE MOOD FOR: Validation, angst, snark, and ripping your hair out. Consider yourself warned.

At sixteen, Journey Durant hasn't yet experienced her first anything. No first boyfriend. No first date. No first kiss. But, that's all about to change. Two boys at West Emerson High are vying for her attention: the MVP quarterback and the school's reigning bad boy. David Britton is the sensible choice. He's attractive, responsible, and every mother's dream-including hers. But David and Journey are from two different social universes where David is the sun in his, and Journey is a moon rock in hers. He's the most popular guy in school, and Journey is just background noise. She has a hard enough time accepting that he truly wants to be her friend, much less anything more. And then there's Steven Drake. Steven has dominated Journey's fantasy life for as long as she can remember. He has a short list of things he cares about and school, the future, and what anyone thinks of him aren't on it. Journey finds the element of rebellion he emanates to be intoxicating. But, as much as Steven excites her, she knows there's trouble down that road. So, who will be her first? Mr. Most Likely to Succeed or Mr. Most Likely to Go to Jail? ***To Be Her First is the prequel to The Bed She Made. Chronologically, this story happens first, but The Bed She Made is a standalone novel.***
