They got a good look at your injuries, fresh ones for proof, and both of your parents got arrested, and you were adopted by the nice couple. This nice couple turned out to be Dream and Cross. You were the youngest of 3 children, Whipple, Lucid, and you. Whipple is very over protective of you, but respects you enough to back off when you believe that you can handle it.
