Two people. Three words. Emily and JJ are best friends. They are comfortable as ever with eachother and everyone knows they are a force to reckon with. Emily knows she is gay. JJ thought she was gay as a young adult but her parents convinced her she was wrong. They both feel a little more every once and a while but brush it off. What if they don't? All chapters will have content warning

JJ has a terrible, shameful secret that she's been hiding for a few months, the more time passes, the harder it becomes to conceal. Emily is the first person to find out that something is happening, but will she be able to get through to JJ before she goes into a downward spiral, or will she be able to help save her?

The kidnapping and torture of Emily Prentiss forces her to confess her true feelings towards her fellow profiler and best friend, JJ. But will Jennifer return the feelings or could this be the end of their beautiful friendship? (This is my second fan fiction I've written so I hope you enjoy!) (Will and JJ are together however JJ's children do not exist in this story)

⚠️PLEASE READ⚠️ PSA: I was in 8th grade when I wrote this and I believe it is very poorly done. Go ahead and read. I don't have the patience to rewrite. I have heard from several comments that it is funny so that is something to look forward to. MAJOR TRIGGER WARNINGS: I know there are several mentions etc of self harm. Having random bouts of PTSD from her kidnapping a few weeks prior, JJ tries to hide her feeling from her coworkers although they all know JJ was kidnapped nobody knows the full story. Finally, she decides to confide in a very comforting Emily.
