In Corea del Sud esisteva una leggenda che narrava la vera storia dell'ospedale psichiatrico Gonjiam, a Gwangju. Si raccontava che in quell'ospedale venivano ricoverati pazienti omicidi, pazzi, maniaci, mostri, e addirittura qualcuno diceva anche che i fantasmi del pazienti deceduti giravano ancora per i corridoi dell'ospedale in cerca di qualcosa. Ma se non fosse così? Se invece dei pazienti i veri mostri erano i medici? Cosa potrebbe succedere se un ragazzo normale, convinto dal padre che quello fosse un normalissimo ospedale, scoprisse la verità?
