After finding out who the true mastermind of the game was, Kokichi Oma was forced to participate in the new killing game along with 14 new students. The 16th student was none other than Shuichi Saihara, the Ultimate Despair Detective.

Kokichi Ouma has a crush on his bestfriend for about 1 year now. They both have been friends ever since they were in those diapers. Sure it's no big deal. Kokichi has a split personality, in which he can't control. Shuichi is oblivious of the fact, so he and other classmates think he is just evil for the heck of it, and fakes being shy. Can Shuichi help Kokichi? Or will he leave him to suffer?

Every thing was fake, all a virtual reality game. The killing game, everyone dying, all of that was all fake. Everyone was still alive. And so, 15 (excluding Tsumugi) students live their lives as students of Hopes Peak Academy. Everyone was the same, everyone except for Kokichi. Tsumugi looked online for an idea on what would be popular for a motive, and she found an idea. That motive idea was to let two kids start to have somewhat memories of them before being 'captured'. That would leave them confused and have the personality and leaving them have different feelings towards people. They both laughed about it. It was the perfect plan. Of course Tsumugi chose the two students that this would happen too. And they were just two of the many she had planed to happen. The people she picked?
