The forth book of the series wildwood. Ashley is devastated as she gives her two beloved horses up. Her mom left and now it's just her and her dad. Her head starts to spin even more as her dad meets a cute country girl with a farm house. Ashley hesitates to get back onto the saddle. It brings up all the pain from selling Watson and Blue Rose. What she doesn't realize is that horses are her life, no matter how she tries to forget the past she can't without first getting on another horse. Ashley's whole life is going to change and in some ways won't be the same ever again. Ashley is struggling, and she wonders if she will ever be herself after all that she has been though.

Ashley is finally away for Christmas break. She is spending the special holiday break with Mia Carter and is having the best time. Lark and Watson get to go to a fancy stable where Mia used to ride.
