ON HIATUS Daryl is on edge as Connie is still missing, and Carol is doing all she can to keep him grounded. He decides to set out to find her himself as everyone worries about Beta and the Whisperers. Note: This fic is set after the cave collapse (10x09) and the Hilltop fire (10x15).

I haven't written a fanfic story in about nine years. However, I have become a bit frustrated and impatient waiting for a conclusion to this romance and war on The Walking Dead. So, I decided to write a conclusion. None of the characters are my property or creation, but the property of AMC. Just borrowing them for recreational purposes. This one-shot or story or whatever you want to call it contains sexual, violent, and other offensive language that I can think of. The story picks up in the middle of the Whisperer war. Our heroes have fled to Oceanside while Connie is trying to find her way back to her friends and family. Some things and events I have changed, but the changes are few.
