WATTPAD BOOKS EDITION You do magic once, and it sticks to you like glitter glue... When Johnny and his best friend, Alison, pass their summer holidays dabbling in magic, they never expect it to have consequences. Sure, it'd be great if they could banish bullies or change their lives for the better, and what harm could come from lighting a few candles and chanting a few spells? They get their answer in the form of an earthquake unleashed at their behest, which draws the attention of the Marduk Institute, an age-old organization dedicated to fostering the talents of young wizards. Whisked away to the institute and told they can never return to their old lives, Johnny and Alison must quickly adapt to a new world shimmering with monsters, fraternities, and cute boys like Hunter and Blake. But when they're pulled into a dark, supernatural fight that could cost them their lives, they'll have to find strength they never knew they had as they battle for love, acceptance, and their own happy endings -- all with the help of a little bit of magic.

In a realm where nobody knows who to trust, the one constant in Lyrani Esch's life is her job as an agent for the Elven Council of Irylen Secret Intelligence (ECISI). It's easy enough to ignore the rumours about the villainy of the elf king Nash. People call it "The Curse of the Crown", but it's all hearsay. At least until Lyrani is assigned a mission to confront it. Her objectives are simple - get into Vlitavia Palace, gather intelligence on King Nash's operations, kill him and get out. But assignments are never as easy as they sound, and the stars are against Lyrani from the start. The deeper Lyrani delves into Nash's present, the more she learns of her past. With her startling discoveries comes the realisation that she must free Nash from a vicious trap or forfeit the realm and both their lives in the name of the curse. Because destinies entwined are never easily separated. Season 1 of A Sprinkle of Stardust WARNING: This story contains strong language and depictions of sexual assault that may be upsetting for some readers. Reader discretion is advised.

Khaleel Rahim, an aspiring writer, is dying for a mystery to solve at his new school. When he sees Charlie sneaking around at night he thinks he's finally found something worth writing about. After discovering Charlie's ability to see visions of the past, Khaleel decides that they're the perfect pair to solve the mystery. The novel depicts the plight of the French peasantry demoralized by the French aristocracy in the years leading up to the revolution, the corresponding brutality demonstrated by the revolutionaries toward the former aristocrats in the early years of the revolution, and many unflattering social parallels with life in London during the same time period. It follows the lives of several protagonists through these events. The most notable are Charles Darnay and Sydney Carton. Darnay is a former French aristocrat who falls victim to the indiscriminate wrath of the revolution despite his virtuous nature, and Carton is a dissipated English barrister who endeavors to redeem his ill-spent life out of his unrequited love for Darnay's wife. The first step to becoming an Animagus is to hold a Mandrake leaf in your mouth for a full month. The trouble is, it's very difficult to speak clearly with a leaf adhered to the roof of your mouth (especially when you're trying to hide it from your best friend) --- Inspired by "The Lip-Lock Jinx" on ao3 by Cassisluna
