Sokka and Zuko have been best friends ever since they were little but as they get older... things change. Um, I tried to make it kind of modern-ish. Like there's a pandemic and they have television and phones and stuff. That was probably the worst/most basic summary in existence but I just wanted to let you know in case you couldn't tell, this is a Zukka fanfic.

Zuko is the son of powerful business owner of Ozai Tech. When he tells his father that he likes boys he is casted from the family, and house. When he goes to live and work for his uncle, he meets the love of his life. Warning: there is homophobic slurs and moments in this book, if this triggers you viewer discretion is advised.

Sokka thought the day was going to be good... until he got to the tea shop and saw a certain Fire Nation prince. In a desperate act to not be thrown in jail for the rest of his life, Zuko tells the Water Tribe boy that he can follow him around to prove that he doesn't want the Avatar anymore. What follows is a string of events that form an unlikely bond between the two boys. ----- Little bit more context, this is a canon divergent AU where Sokka stays in Ba Sing Se instead of Katara in book 2. Nothing before that point was changed. So this is a fanfic from my AO3. It's still a WIP but there are hardly any Zukka fics on this site that I just wanted to share mine. Zuk captures Soka and tries to train him as a warrior for the Fire Nation's soldiers.

The entire gaang lives in one big apartment together, but when Toph invites Zuko to live with everyone, they have to learn to adjust. After getting Sokka's business shut down, Zuko tries his best to make it up to him but Sokka doesn't budge. Not until the first night Zuko moves in. What happened on that first night? When the Gaang has an odd run in with Zuko, Sokka can't seem to part with the hot head teen. What is so interesting about Zuko, and had the Gaang misjudged him? This story takes place as the gAang is on there way up to the Northern Watertribe to learn water bending. This is very canon-divergent. Slowburn.
