UNDERGOING MAJOR EDITS Chara is... Different from most people in the Underground. Why? She's the only human down there and she's the adopted daughter of the king and queen. Not exactly a great combination to be normal. She fears many things, her fellow humans, the dark (probably) and most of all, the head of the Royal Scientists, Doctor W.D Gaster. After stumbling upon a suspicious file, Chara realizes that something isn't right. Meanwhile, in Snowdin, people have been vanishing without a trace. After a small group enter the forest to investigate and one of them is mortally wounded, the whole Underground is thrown into panic. However, fate has a way of bringing people together, and everyone is going to need more than luck to survive. Part one of three. Side note- this is my first story and I'm not that good at writing so please don't judge too harshly! I welcome all constructive criticism. I would also highly suggest you play or watch a playthrough of Undertale before reading! Another side note- I take a few creative liberties in this, so not everything is canon Undertale. Enjoy! Since then, the Underground has become hostile towards all humans that fall. King Asgore has gathered six human souls so far. Alyssa Hartman is invisible to everyone to the point where most of her classmates think that Alyssa is just her twin, Paige. But one day, Paige vanishes. She had been obsessing over Mount Ebbott, the mountain no traveler returns from. Alyssa realizes that Paige climbed the mountain. But Alyssa's in for a nasty surprise when she jumps down the hole she finds there, for enemies can come from the most unlikely of places. Little does she know, so do friends.
