Izuku has a dream, a goal, a burning desire to help others. To do that, ever since he was little, he set his eyes on becoming a great hero, someone who protects the innocent. That's why, even after being proclaimed quirkless, looked down as being too weak for such a position, he hasn't given up on helping. Even if he can't become one right away, he will become a hero, step by step, one invention at a time.
