Kaneki had gotten away from Arima. He was beaten to near death, but he still survived with the last of his strength. Now he is living in the abandoned 1st ward where only the cheapest criminals live. He has made a decision to stop eating. Because of this, his hunger grows and he becomes a monster. In a battle against his loved one and closest friends, Kaneki's world crumbles down on him.

Kaneki and ayato fall in love causing ayato to fall into a fragile state. He's afraid of kaneki. He's scared one day he might leave. Though kaneki swears he's never gonna leave him ayato can't help but be scared. The thought of losing kaneki terrifies him. And for kaneki falling in love with ayato drives him crazy. He doesn't know when he will snap at anyone who tries to take ayato away from him he won't allow it. Even if ayato tries to deny his love or leave him kaneki won't allow it either that's why kaneki wants ayato to cage his heart

"Why me?" i asked Kaneki blushing. I felt his lips on mine and i kissed back. He was kinda taller than me....but why does he love me?
