After the events of Blood Gulch, Slade, AKA Agent California, rescues his friend Washington from the Meta before he was killed. Together, they reunite the Reds and Blues in order to take down the Meta before he gets his hands on all the AIs made by Project Freelancer.

After having defeated the Meta, the Reds and Blues return to Valhalla, only to be brought back in action by Slade's long lost and presumed dead love, Agent Carolina. Slade now begins to question Carolina's methods of justice with rather revenge than anything else. The former Freelancer also begins to remember more parts of his true past that he never realized and begging one question in his mind: Who am I?

Project Freelancer was gone. And Slade now knows the truth of who he really he is. He and the Reds and Blues were finally on their way home, until their ship crashes on a long forgotten planet and get sucked into a war that's apparently been going on for years.

Until for some unexpected reason their ship crashes and they find themselves thrust into another adventure between two opposing factions fighting one another on a planet long forgotten by everyone in the UNSC.

Chorus had finally stopped its ongoing war for years, thanks to the Reds and Blues. But now it seems that for some unknown reason, the Sim Troopers of Blood Gulch have gone rogue. Freelancers have been disappearing and UNSC bases have been attacked by the heroes who brought down Project Freelancer. Now it's up to a news reporter and her camera-man to find the truth as to the sudden change in the colorful heroes of Blood Gulch.

After stopping Temple and the Blues and Reds from destroying Earth, the Sim Troopers and Freelancers have decided to take a breather with some pizza in the mix. But when Donut returns saying he has seen God, adventure and peril continue for the Reds and Blues. Now they are fighting against actual livings gods!
