I have never been close enough to see his eyes. Even now I was barely able to see them through his dark glasses. The feeling of his cold fingers on the back of my neck sent a shiver down my spine. He was so close that I was inhaling the air he was exhaling. My heart was pounding in my chest and I couldn't feel my hands. His breathing was rigid. "You better watch how you speak to me, little girl," he said ominously.
