This is the official rewrite of my first TreeTurned au story!! Also yes, the old fic is still up for comparison purposes. It's the apocalypse. Except instead of slow, brain-eating zombies, it's extremely intelligent, and fast, demons from hell. There's four types: the speedy Sound, the extremely strong Sight, the tracking Scent, and the ever elusive Shadow. Nothing is known about the Shadows except that one day, a shadow with a skull face and unnaturally green eyes walked into the city, and they started all of this with a literal flick of its tail. Escaping from the city was no easy task, but it was necessary to live especially since that skull-faced one seemed to have it out for him. Hopefully the woods are safer.

Life is good for the vigilante UltraViolet; Putting bullets through the skulls of his client's targets while getting paid handsomely and being chased by three of the baddest heroes around. For Purpled... not so much. Despite his secret life as a deadly mercenary, social anxiety and the fear of actually talking to people gets the better of him. ...That is until a familiar group of classmates welcome him to their clique, and things take an interesting turn- maybe for the better. Or the worst. (In short- super hero au with Bench trio and Purpled as the main character because my comfort streamer needs more screentime. Sbi and Dream team will be included, just not a lot.)
