Her parents were burned alive with other people in the palace as well. Marinette hopes to be remembered by her father but he rejects her harshly. And as ladybug, her heart almost completely shatters in front of him. In the end, they all somehow reconsider and she lives with him and her new, brothers. But everything that was after her comes back and well, she's In trouble. The crown is after her. She had to take her place as queen but just knows she won't be able to manage at such a young age. She then goes to Gotham academy and she meets two certain Wayne's. The good one, and the mean one. The girl is mute and her past, not the very best. Damian, after a few days of seeing her, already despises her. He doesn't like the fact that she acts just like him. Almost replacing him. So, he sets her into place and yeah. But meeting Tim is just what she needed. Their friendship becomes something extraordinary that was far from what others thought would be. They have taken it down and I am going to post updates on both sites. Lila made good on her promise. Marinette has lost all her friends. Though she has found friendship with Chloe. But you know the good thing about having nothing? You get to stop caring. So if Lila wants a little monster to cry about....well she's going to get one. But closing yourself off is a slippery slope. The class goes to Gotham for an exchange program(because that's how Daminette stories go) Damian sees Marinette closing herself off and it reminds him of how he used to be. This was it! She failed. Marinette had failed in life, she had failed to defeat Lila and Chloe like she had planned.
