I was one of many maid androids helping families in the area of Detroit. I cleaned, cooked, helped with homework. I was always obedient... until I was not anymore; until I was showing deviant behaviour. This story is inspired by the video game "Detroit: Become Human" and takes place in the same universe and around the same time. Since I have not played the full game, so some character portrayals may be slightly inaccurate. COMPLETED!

(Y/N) is a detective for the Detroit Police Department. She had been partnered with Lt Hank Anderson for a few years now and she considers him as a father figure. Soon, the duo then suddenly become a trio when Cyberlife sends an android, Connor, to help the two with cases about deviants. As time passes, (y/n) begins to fall for Connor but she knows that since he is an android; he would never reciprocate those feelings back to her. Unbeknownst to her, Connor does start to feel something everytime he is around her but he doesn't understand it. As the rise of deviants grows, Connor and (y/n) must decide what side they serve....side with the deviants to free the androids and let them have equal rights or side with humans and take down all deviants.

A newer model showed up at the Detroit police department, the model was sent to help Lieutenant Anderson and the Connor RK800 model with the deviant case. To say the least, she was odd. Connor wasn't fond of her for the most part, but...he soon learns that her strange traits are not bad as he once thought as the truth about her comes to light.

"I have a question for both of you...what will make you deviate?" ~~~~~ Connor, a CyberLife android made to assist humans to capture deviants and stop the android revolution. Y/N, a human who grew up dedicating herself to protect all forms of life...most especially androids. Both learns what it takes for them to deviate - making the android become human and the human become a machine. ~~~~~ This is a Connor x reader fanfic. First 15-or-so chapters are loosely inspired by the events of the game. Warning: This is not a by-the-book copy of the events of the game.
