Chloe Beale a nineteen year, self-confident girl, is on a summer holiday with her parents, brother Luke (24), and sister Lindy (22). After this holiday, she begins her sophomore year. She meets Beca at the beach and likes her immediately. Beca Mitchell a seventeen-year-old girl, who has divorced parents. Her brother Joey (26) lives together with his girlfriend in San Francisco, her brother Troy (22) lives with her mother in Los Angeles and her little sister (Isa)Bella (15) lives with her father in Atlanta. After meeting Chloe, she can't get her out of her head... Beca and Chloe don't see each other for a whole year after that holiday, the contact between the two remain through messages and phone calls. What will happen if Chloe and Beca meet once again at Barden University? Will they remain best friends or will their friendship falls apart?

Beca walks up the front of the steps to the porch of the Bella House. She takes a deep breathe her head to the ground. She closes her eyes, losing the blue color. Uneasy her hand lifts, it shaking. Before she can knock the door swings open. Beca's eyes open and her head lifts to lock eyes with Chloe's. A smile inched onto the ginger's lips. "Hey, everything alright?" Chloe asks, her smile quickly fading. Beca steps back onto the porch watching as Chloe steps out, taking the door with her. The ginger's arms cross over her chest as she questions Beca with her eyes and the tilt of her head. "Chlo, we need to talk," Beca begins biting her lip.

"Did you ever feel anything for me? Or was it just sex for you?" I asked. She didn't respond. "Because I know I felt something." She turned to face me, and I saw something flash in her eyes. Regret. Or was it pain I saw there? "I was never going to be good enough." She said, and I flinched in surprise. "You what?" "I'm not good enough for you, and I never will be!" She snapped. I think in that moment, we both broke.

Set in Pitch Perfect 2, Beca and Chloe are arguing about how Beca kept a secret about a music producer in L.A wanting to hear Beca's work. Chloe is a little more than upset when she finds out that her girlfriend has been keeping it from her and the Bellas, which Beca is beginning to grow tired of. But their argument is interrupted when Beca finds herself in danger and suddenly realises that she needs help from Chloe and the Bellas.
