Varian did some bad things. he's a troubled kid. what he needs is some help, but Nigel gives him the oposite. what will happen when Repunzel learns the truth? will it be too late for the kid criminal known as Varian? read to find out. What if Varian was never locked in prison. What if instead, the king thought a better punishment for him was to tag along with Rapunzel and the gang following the black rocks. Will he be redeemed or will it send him deeper into villainy? Well you're about to find out. This Second Chance is all he has to make things right again. This will follow most of the storyline for season 2 and maybe season 3 of Tangled: The Series. I don't not own any characters in this story, they belong to Disney.

This is my take on the idea of a Varian spin-off series of Tangled: The Series/Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. The AU was presented to Disney by storyboarders Kay Ritter and Anna Lencioni who took a liking to Varian's character and decided to create a story for him in his later years; detailing the adventures he might go on and the friends he makes along the way. I'll likely take a lot of inspiration from other fans too and I think that's what's great about vat7k, we all inspire each other with our ideas! :) This is probably gonna be a long one, hope you enjoy!!
