In a world where marks appear on a select few individuals, Spencer lives in solitude and constant fear as one of the marked. These marks spread across his skin and appears to be veins bleeding black ink. Those without marks, or the "clean" people, detest those with marks. They target them and attack them and Spencer, living as the only openly marked boy in his town, feels like prey being hunted. Just as there is someone at the bottom of the social hierarchy, there must be someone at the top. Elio lives as the schools perfect "Golden Boy". But even perfect boys have secrets. ******** His golden hair appeared almost silver under the moon. His eyes were just as steady and just as terrifying. I didn't dare take a breath. He dropped his hand and smiled and I winced. I literally winced. He gestured to my headphones and with shaky hands I slipped them off, watching his smile bleed across his face, dripping with a new kind of terror I couldn't quite place. "Hey," he said, light and typical of his golden boy persona, "I've seen you around at school." I blinked at him, not used to a conversation this civil proceeding a murder attempt. "I'm Elio," he smiled again. It didn't reach his eyes. Again. I swallowed, hard and dry. "I know." 🏅 #1- Boyxboy- Dec 30, 2025🥇 #1- Slowburn- Dec 30, 2025🥇 #3- bxblove- Jan 03, 2026 🥉

Theo has always believed kindness could change the world. Smiles, favors, small sacrifices-he offers them freely, without ever asking for anything in return. But when life at college begins to chip away at his health, his spirit, and his sense of belonging, Theo discovers that giving too much can leave nothing left for himself. Between cruel roommates, long shifts at a café, and the quiet ache of loneliness, he clings to the light he brings others-children at the shelter, a confident girl who orders iced coffee, and a steadfast friend who sees through his endless smile. Yet when kindness becomes exhaustion, when generosity hides hunger, Theo must finally ask: Who will carry the boy who has carried everyone else? Tender, raw, and deeply human, All That We Carry is a story of friendship, first love, and the delicate balance between giving and receiving. It is about learning that being cared for is just as vital as caring for others-and that the weight we carry is lighter when it's shared.

Jude doesn't talk. He can't, even when he wants to. They don't want to hear what he has to say, and they only use their words to hurt him. So why even try anymore? Starting at a new school seems like the perfect opportunity to blend into the background, but it isn't far enough away to start over. Some people just won't let him forget about his past. The teachers don't understand. He can't tell them why. He can't say anything at all. Ross understands. Ross writes to him. Slowly, he pulls Jude out of his shell, waiting for him to say something. ----- Say Something is a story of overcoming fear with the help of friendship and love. As someone who has struggled with anxiety, I tried to do something a little different with my writing style this time by including a lot of thoughts and feelings rather than a ton of description and detail. I'd like to add that it mentions things like sex and violence but I don't plan on going into any graphic detail in this story. There is also occasional cursing. I hope you give it a chance and leave feedback for me as I post new chapters over time. Thank you so much for checking it out! Started: January 15, 2015 Completed: July 28, 2017 **COMPLETED** **ILLUSTRATIONS are being released! The illustrations chapter is private, meaning only followers can view it. Why? This is a present for my followers to show my appreciation for their support! #566 in teen fiction 8/2/17 #2 in lgbt 7/18/20 wow!
