Set in South Park, the story follows (Y/N) Richard, a polite, church-raised kid with suburban roots and quiet hood energy, who's been friends with the boys for as long as anyone can remember. In fourth grade, their friendship takes a turn after a stupid scheme Cartman pulls results in a fake kiss-meant as a joke, forgotten almost immediately by everyone except the boys themselves.
Stan and Kyle, who already had unspoken crushes on (Y/N), begin to grow possessive and territorial, framing their obsession as loyalty and concern. Kenny watches silently and intervenes when things get physical. Cartman mocks (Y/N)'s religion relentlessly, resenting that he can't control him the way he controls others, while (Y/N) repeatedly has to keep Cartman in check with calm threats wrapped in politeness and faith.
What starts as childhood friendship slowly warps into something obsessive, normalized by the town and ignored by adults, as the boys' behavior escalates across seasons. Through satire, violence, and uncomfortable humor, the story tracks how obsession disguised as friendship grows darker with age-while everyone insists it's always been normal.
