I told myself I wasn't going to make this book, but I guess I did. Because you have found it, I guess you can read it. It's a story about a girl's life. A life where she was taken from everything she knew. Her house, her friends, and even her family. She was brought to a new family with a brother, sister, and mother who were also taken from their life. There she lives looking for way to escape from her 'family'. Her new dad was the one who planned it and won't let them leave. He's abusive and mean. When a conflict leads to death, the girl makes a plan with her "brother" to escape. Will they ever be able to escape this mad man and this "perfect family" he created? Of course I know. That girl is me. But if you want to find out go ahead and read my book. Astrid is one the only ten people from around the world who have been gifted with extraordinary talent. These ten kids are taken out of their regular lives and put into a special school.
