That is, until you met Mettaton's friends! The eventful evening changes your life in more way then one, but where you'll end up you don't know just yet. P.S. I do not own Undertale! If I had to give this story an age rating I'd say maybe 14+ or PG 13 I do use swearwords, there is violence, and there may be topics some people aren't as comfortable with. You're an athlete, simple as that. You've thought about dancing, but you figured it was never your strong suit. One day, your friends drag you to their dance practice and you are introduced to their friends. In the group of new-monster-friends, one of them catches your eye. Suddenly, dancing doesn't seem like a bad idea...

It had been a couple months since your little sister went missing. Guess how surprised you were to see her on the news with the headline "Young Girl Helps Monsters Escape". When you meet the friends she made in the underground you can help but to love all of them, especially a skeleton with a love for puns and stars. Sorry I'm not that good at summaries X3 This is my first story so please tell me if I misspelled anything. I view frisk as a female so I apologize if you view them as male or both.

[SEQUEL OF AT THE SURFACE, IF YOU HAVEN'T READ IT, READ THAT FIRST PLEASE] Summary: (y/n), even to today, was still a legend. Everywhere she went, people would honor her and still bring her gifts. All of this, because she apparently "contributed" to locking those savages away. Oh, how she hated what they thought, but they will never know the truth, and it would be better if they all didn't. Now we are 20-something years after the war, she's a divorced, single parent of a 14 year old girl. But her daughter isn't exactly what she had imagined her to be, in fact, her birth-daughter looked nothing like you or your "spouse". She looked exactly like the girl with rosy cheeks. But she didn't act anything like HER. She was a nice, and quiet girl. Of course, she grew stubborn like you, but regardless of what happened, she was always kind. So, it confused you, but you were happy with her. It's just when she disappears, when things start to twist. You were alone in this world, without parents, without a spouse, and no one to really trust. Little do you know...her disappearance, was for the better.

The monsters have finally made it to the surface and have been legalized to roam the surface as they please. The first couple of months have been spent as a paradise where humans and monsters have lived in peace and happiness. But as we all know, humans tend to be afraid of what they don't understand and the appearance of the monsters only seemed to have fueled the rising tension. You are a member of one of the biggest clubs that support the monster's appearance, known as the FMC (For Monsters Corporation). There is a rival club, known as the DM (Destroy the Monsters) that only wants to exterminate the existence of the monsters, and with every passing day, conditions only seem to be getting worse. Determined, you try to make things right and equal for all beings, but things start to alter when you meet with a certain skeleton. This is the second story to "Unexpected Love" so if you haven't read the first book you should probably read that first so you aren't confused. But anyways, enjoy! You wake up on the cold floor in the old lab that Alphys had found. You felt strange and the only life form that you could find in the Underground was Chara, who had somehow gotten out of your consciousness and now looked like a normal human. You find out that six months had passed and a child named Frisk had freed everyone and the barrier was broken. Sans is unsure, and anxious; depressed. A smile with sad eyes as usual. Then he meets y o u. Heh.. Did you really think you would change anything? H i m ? T h e m ? Did you really think you were special? Just because you "cared" ? Ha! Since w h e n ? Just like that you suddenly 'can't afford not to care anymore'? You climbed the famous Mt. Ebott to prove to a group of your friends that humans don't disappear when they go up the mountain. While walking around the peak, you trip over a root in the ground and fall forward, expecting to hit the ground. Instead, you were met with open air. As you fell down the large hole, you let out a shrill scream before hitting the ground and blacking out. When you wake up, you find yourself in the Underground where monsters had been banished to by the humans. You meet several monsters down in the Underground, some becoming friends and some becoming enemies. One particular monster though, has been making your heart flutter and your tongue get tied. Sans the skeleton. A new threat appears when a human that had been thought to be dead comes back and threatens you and the entire Underground. Will you be able to stop them or will you be used as a puppet and watch your friends die? Maybe the only thing that can defeat LOVE is love...
