This story takes place in The Black Phone 2... Jaeda Hernandez was the cousin to Robin Arllano and Ernesto Arellano but not long before Robin disappeared, her parents were murdered. She had no choice but to live with Robin and Ernesto. She grew closer to them as time grew on but then the unfortunate happened when The Grabber came into town and would take little boys and her cousin, Robin, became one of his victims. This threw Jaeda into pits of hell in her mind and gave her these weird dreams. She thought she could try and find him but it didn't turn out well when she was kidnapped by the same man who murdered her cousin. But to her surprise, she was thrown into the same basement as Finney Blake, her friend who was also Robins BEST friend. 4 years later... Jaeda and Finney escaped that basement and ended the Grabbers story on earth and now they're free. She still lives with Ernesto and her aunt, but of course she's still mourning Robins death. But she knows she has to stay strong and look after Ernesto and Finney. It's what Robin wants her to do, even if he didn't physically tell her but she just knew it. Her and Finney became closer than ever but over the past years it turned into a toxic-love, friends with benefits type relationship. It may sound unhealthy but to them, it was okay. They were fine the way they were. They never knew how to be in actual relationships so this is where they'd stay for the time well being. Finney was closed off and the only one who was ever let in was Jaeda. She had learned to make a few friends after the whole situation but Finney never did. He was afraid. All he had was Jaeda and Gwen. But she didn't blame him, after all, she was scared too. But she knew she had to be the stable one here.
