After a long fight with Baldur, they had fallen back to the place where the world serpent spat us out and Kratos began beating Bladur over and over eventually stopping after hearing Freya's pleas for him to stop and lifting Baldur up told him to leave and harm no one to everyone's surprise he just walked away jumping over the river and leaving. Kratos then told Atreus to follow and they were able to finish their journey and leave their mothers ashes at the peak of Jotunheim but when they walked back down they retrieved Mimir and were greeted by Freya and Baldur who offered his thanks for freeing him from his mothers spell and let them know that this was just a formality and next they meet they would tell him the secret to getting into Jotunheim one way or another.
