DISCONTINUED! Korra hears Mako chose Asami over her and who does she run into first?

Native fire bender, Valentine Hisao-Hisato, has left the comfort of the Fire Nation to Republic City after her 18th birthday. Meanwhile Tazu, a native earth bender and the previous avatar, was found dead after 17 years. While the world waits anxiously for the new avatar, Valentine is just trying to start her new life.

It's been nine years since the war with Kuvira. Bolin and Opal got married and had children together. General Iroh married Asami and are the Fire Lord and Lady of the Fire Nation. Korra got engaged. As for Mako? He went back to being a detective after Prince Wu overthrew the monarchy andand decided to be a singer. But he wasn't seeing anyone after he and Korra broke up. Although he's happy that Korra is marrying someone who she truly loves, he can't help but think that he should have done something that could have kept them together.
