Chase has been captured by Mayor Humdinger and is brought into his cave in Foggy Bottom. He is then locked in a cage with hundreds of cats surrounding him. Little did chase know that he would be poisoned with what triggers him.

When Ryder buys a new PC and installs a game called Minecraft on it, the pups are interested and wants to know how the game works, then the next day when Ryder leaves them to play it on their own, Chase accidentally installs too many mods that caused the PC to override and explode and shutting of the screen. When Ryder took it to get it fixed the next day, the Mechanic said that it was all fine and Ryder was relieved that no harm was done. Or so he thought so. Things very quickly started to change as monsters invaded Adventure Bay and forcing everyone out of their home.
