Beach City. A quiet yet peaceful beach town, home to a group known as the Crystal Gems, and a human gem hybrid named Steven Universe. When something gem related happens in the town, it's anything but quiet or peaceful. It also doesn't help that an empire of gems, known as Homeworld, has set their sights on the planet after so many years. But that all changes when Steven watches video footage of a muscular green human with incredible strength, fighting a villain, and Steven instantly became enthralled by him! He does his research, and discovers that the green super human is part of a team of superheroes known as the Avengers, earth's mightiest heroes. After some time had passed, the gems have a chance encounter with what they perceived to be a big green rage monster. Though this wasn't just any monster, because this is the hero Steven recognized from the news! With some convincing from Steven, the big green monster agrees to help the Crystal Gems defend the earth from the threat of Homeworld. Because not only is he strong... he is the STRONGEST there is!
