Zak lives in a rural, conservative area with his single, alcoholic father and he has insomnia and anxiety. Zak often sneaks out in the night to drive around and go to red hole, a popular hole in the creek to go swimming in. One night there, he finds a guy named Darryl.

The Potters have moved to an old, probably haunted, house in the middle of no where. Albus could not be less pleased. Harry is ignoring him, his mother is too busy for him, and his siblings are being pests as usual.
