Esra of the Northern Water Tribe was never enough for her father. Not as a daughter. Not as a waterbender. Not as the child he raised like an afterthought while he poured his pride into the boys he trained, the boys he treated like the sons he always wanted. In a tribe where women are taught to heal rather than fight, Esra learns to do both. By day, she is the prodigy healer and student, disciplined, intelligent, and obedient in the eyes of the tribe. Though she secretly studies, her father and other masters train their students in combat, she memorizes every skill and technique they think women cannot understand. And by night, she trains herself in the combat techniques that are forbidden to women. While others sleep, she builds a fighting style all her own, one no one was ever meant to see. All while hiding her ambition behind discipline, intelligence, and a calm smile that never reveals how sharp her thoughts truly are. Still, none of it earns the one thing she wants most. Her father's approval remains just out of reach. But the arrival of the Avatar brings change to the North and her.

They say if you hear a siren, you're already lost. Her voice slips through the fog, soft as a secret. "Come closer," she sings. He stops at the edge of the deck. "Are you trying to kill me?" A pause. Then a smile in the dark. "No," she says. "I'm trying to see if you'll jump." The sea waits. When a curious siren, bound to the sea, is unwillingly tangled with a class that draws trouble like a tide. "Your emergency contact is listed as 'The Ocean'?" "Yeah, she's very supportive. Never judges me. Unlike some people." .

Cassandra Blake knew how Attack on Titan ended. She knew who would die. She knew who would betray humanity. She knew which screams were coming before the people around her even learned to be afraid. Then she fell asleep in the modern world and woke up in Shiganshina on the day Wall Maria fell. Trapped inside a story built on sacrifice, Cass joins the 104th Cadet Corps with the weight of the future locked behind her teeth. She knows too much, moves too carefully, and somehow always seems to be in the right place when death comes reaching. To the military, she is suspicious. To civilians, she becomes something dangerously close to hope. To her friends, she is the girl who laughs with them, fights beside them, and refuses to let go when the world tells her she should. But fate does not break quietly. Every life Cass saves changes the path ahead. Every secret she keeps draws sharper eyes toward her. And in a world where survival already demands everything, Cassandra Blake will have to decide how much of herself she is willing to lose to keep the people she loves alive. Because knowing the future is not the same as saving it. All credit for Attack on Titan and its entities belongs to Hajime Isayama. I only own Cassandra Blake and pieces of the divergent plot.
