She mirrored his scrutiny and scoffed. "What, and you are?" She gestured to the cairns beyond the trees. "Are you going to protect me as well as you protected them?" Calamity is upon Hyrule. The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of outright failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. It certainly doesn't help that the boy fate has tangled her with makes her seethe. Devotion, heartbreak, inadequacy. Faith, perseverance, and courage. This is a story of finding what lies within. Even though they both clearly express their dislike of one another, they somehow find themselves running into each other again and again... For centuries the wielders of the Triforce have been trapped in a seemingly endless battle between good and evil. After tragedy strikes, Princess Zelda finds herself living in Gerudo Town, where Link and Ganondorf befriend her. Everything seems to be going well; there's even a possible romance between Link and Zelda. However, their happiness doesn't last long. With tensions rising with the Kingdom of Hyrule, it's only a matter of time before they face an all-out war. Time, a strange thing time is. The flow of time is always cruel. Its speeds seems different for each person, but no one can change it. A thing that doesn't change with time is a memory of younger days. You cannot stop these events from happening. It is better to give into defeat, then fight what you know can't be helped. Because someday, the time will come when your childhood days will be only mere memories of what you have become. The world does change, And so do you. The Hero of Time has endured many hardships, but none compared to what will happen when he returns to Hyrule. This new burden has none to do with enimies, or danger, but with everyday life Link is growing up. And there is no going back to his childhood anymore. There is not an Ocarina or sacred sword to send him back... Where he now wants to return. Just himself, his beloved kingdom, and the princess he would give his life for.

Zelda is a lonely junior at Hyrule High School, and she is constantly a victim of Ganondorf and his gang's bullying. Link is a popular basketball player who everyone wants to be friends with. He didn't even know Zelda existed until they were in the same biology group. When Link notices Ganondorf's awful treatment of Zelda, will he become the knight in shining armor she's been waiting for?
