A collection of poetry Some humorous, some sad and some joyful, but always from the heart. " The first poems in here were written when I was around thirteen or fourteen while the last ones were written when I was nineteen. A light hearted romance, through which a little spiritual thread is woven. Clare and Alan grow up together and have lots of fun, until Alan emigrates to Canada for a time. Aged 28, Clare marries and starts a job in an Accountant's office as Alan's secretary. When Alan's marriage breaks down and Clare's situation changes, Alan falls in love with her. As his love grows and grows, more and more people find out about his feelings for her, but what will she say when she finds out?

~ This poetic journey started when I began questioning why I write poetry. The assumption I'd come across pearls of wisdom to impart is quickly challenged by readers of "Magpie Pearls", leading me to explore truth in a broader sense. Is truth universal or personal? Relative, or absolute? What becomes clear to me over time is we all seem to search for it, each in our own way. I welcome reader's thoughts and comments.
