Freeing Princess Elena from the Amulet of Avalor was exciting enough for Sofia. But when Sofia and her family sleepover at Prince Hugo's palace, Princess Hildegard jealously tries so hard to upstage Sofia that her magical amulet pulls her inside! Sofia gets the amulet to choose Hugo to bear it and get her out. Hugo suggests the royals travel to Avalor, so he can travel to the Maruvian temple to release Sofia. But despite the procedure being performed correctly, the amulet won't release Sofia! It looks like Hugo needs another procedure to get her out, but what?

Sofia and Amber each have a sleepover at their castle with their friends from school, and Sofia and hr Corinthian Sports friends are camping out tonight. Sofia and her friends are now grown up and facing new changes, and there's a very big change coming. Twenty-year-old Prince Hugo proposes to Sofia on her 19th birthday, and she happily accepts! Ruby and Jade have been jealous of Prince Hugo since the day they met him because he's really close to Sofia. When Hugo leaves for a vacation, Jade and Ruby have Sofia to themselves for a week. But the girls are so happy to have Sofia that they become clingy and want to do everything with her for a week. However, Hugo comes back early after his father is injured in an ice hockey accident, and he and Sofia are back to having fun together. After hearing Hugo call Sofia his best friend, Jade and Ruby fear that they've lost Sofia. Have Ruby and Jade lost Sofia forever? This takes place right after the episode "The Flying Crown". There's going to be a county fair coming to Royal Prep, and Amber, Hildegard, and Clio are really excited. Since Sofia and Hugo are going to participate in the county fair's flying derby race, the trio invites them to join the fun. However, Sofia and Hugo have to save their energy for the race, so Hugo decides to teach Sofia how to play guitar. Amber, Hildegard, and Clio become jealous of Sofia and fear that Hugo likes her more.
